Did you ever create a blog or website you were really proud of but nobody came to visit it? Thats because it isn't just done with creating a great website and uploading. After the design process the real work begins.

Get your site Indexed by the major search engine, drive some traffic to it, build up a reputation. Thats hard work, and if you have the spare money you could outsource it. But why should you spend 100$ for something you could do on your own?

So to get started promoting your site, start with the simplest, yet most effective way. Build some Backlinks. If you dont know what backlinks are, thats simple... A site linking back to your site :)

Benefits are simple thene more pages you have that are linking to your page then more attractive is your site for search engines. Also do a lot of links to you site mean that chances are high that someone will click it :)

But please do me a favor after you are done with this tutorial dont run out and spam your link anywhere you can.

An overview

SInce backlink building has become very popular and some people started to spam there link anywhere they could most pages have now a "no follow" tag to external links. Meaning you got a link but the search engine will simply ignore it.

So we got a problem, we can leave our link on many places but most wont count towards our link score. Well I got that problem solved I got a source of over 500 high pr pages where you can get an easy backlink that will be counted.

In this short tutorial I gonna show you how to get started with your linkbuilding. I will guide you step by step thru the process of setting up your first 5 high quality backlinks that will

- A well designed website or blog
- a e-mail adress (for some services I recommend using 10 Min Mail to avoid the spam)
- 30-45 mins time
- some creativity
- keywords to describe your site
- a short review of your site (30words...)
- 10 seconds to say "Thank you" after you are done :)
- 10 seconds to recommend this tutorial to a friend...

Before you start read this carefully!!!

Never spam on Blogs or Forums

If you join a forum or post on a blog even if you just want a backlink, never ever make spam posts. Always keep in mind, you are doing this for SEO but other people really like the forum/blog and are interested in the topic. So please respect them and the owners.

Do not create posts ala "hi, please visit xxx.xxx thanks" if you do that you will just get banned and we got soon only pages with the evil "no follow" tag turned on by default !

I am sure you are always welcome to post even if you just want to get some links as long as you contribute to the forum and respect there rules.

Getting the Setup

Lets get to the setup
1. Start a new browser window
2. Start notepad to write down some stuff you else have to copy 100times... (start -> run -> type "notepad" with out the " " ->OK )
3. Put all your details you dont want to enter 5 times into your notepad file (url with http://www,, name for the link, keywords, short review, a link to your about page since some blogs/forums really hate marketers so display something else of your page) so you can quickly copy paste it...
4. Go to 10min mail and get a disposable mail adress or use your own. If you use 10min mail also copy that mail address to your notepad file

so we are ready to roll :)

The first high PR backlink:

1. Signup fortumblr or if you already have an account sign in.

2. When you have your account add your link here:


3. Enter your Linkname, the url and add a short description

4. hit submit

5. voila your first backlink is live and geting indexed :)

And the second good Backlink

http://www.dreamteammoney.com/ a PR 4 Forum that gets your indexed fast

Ok this one is a special one :) DreamTeamMoney is a huge forum build around making money on the net. You can post your url in 3 Locations
your profile
your signature AND
If you have a blog you can post a direct link to it in the "rate my blog" section.

Sadly the signature has a "no follow" but the 2 other give correct backlinks. And since this page is a google spider magnet you can be sure that you will get indexed in less then 24hours.

So here we go :)

1. Sign up @ Dream Team Money

2. After you have done this log in and go to
"My Control" (1. on the picture)

3. Click on "Edit Profile Informations" (2. in the pic)
Add there your Website and click on "Save"

4. Click on Edit Signaute (3. in the pic)
You will get a WYSWIG editor to create your signature. Add your link with a nice caption. I know it s a "No Follow" but if you post there chances are high that youll get a click (over 500+ users online nearly 24/7)



5. Go back to the main site and find the Subforum called "Introduce yourself". (1 on the pic )
Make a short post about yourself.

6. Find 1-2 other topics in the forum interest you and make a quality post.
well you could also skip 5. & 6. but dont get angry if you wont get any response from the community or even a bann.

7. Find the Subforum Called "Blogs, Lens, Website Reviews - Post, Critique, Read, Rate and Chat about your Informative Site here!"



8. Click on Start a new Topic(Pic 1) you will get a WYSWYG editor, tell the world a bit about your blog or site and make sure to include a direct link in the post. When you are done click on Submit.



And we are done for this. Just backlink site 2 and we allready have 3 quality backlinks :)

For the third Backlink we do something special :)

Get a "do follow" link from http://www.digg.com - thats a Page Rank 9 :)

We all know, digg has only "no follow" links expect... well expect in your profile. You can add there any link also some that are else banned on Digg like GoArticles.com. :)
So lets do this :)

1. Go to Digg.com and Sign Up for a new Account or if you allready have one like most of us simply sign in.

2. If you have signed up set up your profile and skip the ""add your friends" option

3. on the next page click the "pimp out your profile"" link

4. Now its the same for fresh signed up and established members. Go to your profile, and find the "Add a Bio and Links" link. click it.

5. Now you can enter your link with a description. When you are done hit add.

6. Lets check if our link is live... go to the digg frontpage and click on "my profile" are at the top.

7. Tada you got a backlink from Digg :)

This is an very easy one... http://www.flickr.com/ a Page Rank 9

This one is really easy but nice since search engines love pictures. Oh and its very easy to set up.

1. Go to flickr.com and sign up or log in if you already have a account.

2. Click the link on your username in the top right.

3. Go to your profile, on the right side you will see a link to edit your profile. click it

4. Enter your URL and anchor text and hit save

5. we are done, you can see your live link now in your profile :) If you want some extra exposure, upload some pictures related to your websites topic.

aaaaaaaaaand strike five....

Its http://www.tivocommunity.com/tivo-vb a Page Rank 5 forum with "do follow" links :D

This one works nearly like the Dream Team Money thing expect its on a other topic...So if you managed it once you can do it again. All we want is the backlink anyway :P

1. register or signe up with tivocommunity

2. Sign in and go to you user control panel

3. click on "edit you signature", youll see a WYSWYG editor, set it up and click on save.

4. Back in the Control Panel click now on "Edit my Profil", add you link and click on save profile.

5. look for a topic that interests you and make a post...

6. done your links are live :)
