Hey everyone. It’s Edward Brown. (No, really?! Lol.)

Today, I’ll be writing about internet marketing. More specifically, advertising on forums. Forums are websites like www.dreamteammoney.com. Now, I don’t want you to go posting and spamming the S*** out of those forums. How do you do it then Charles, you ask?

Well, I’ll explain that in this article. Yes, this article. Not any other ones. Just this one. Why would it be in any other article? Did you expect to read it under ‘How to make your body healthier’?. No, of course not. It will be in this article.

Let’s get started...
First off, you are going to need to sign up at a forum. (again, a forum is like www.dreamteammoney.com.) The forum must be related to your niche. (What the hell is a niche, you ask? Example: If you are promoting a product about healthy foods, then you’d want to find a forum that talks about healthy foods. If you are promoting a product about exercising, then you’d want to find a forum that talks about exercising.)

Now, you know what a forum is, and also what a niche is. But, you are probably currently wondering how the hell do I find this forum. It’s simple. Just type in the following in to Google. “[your niche]+forum” Now, only a moron would actually type “your niche” into Google. Obviously, you need to change that to your actual niche. For example, type in “video games + forums” if you’re looking for a forum about video games. (Yes, you really do type in the + sign.) It should bring up a lot of results. There are tens of thousands of forums out there, so one of then has to be related to your niche. If not, you may consider starting up your own forum, but that’s not what this article is about.

Once you sign up for the forum, it’s time to create your profile. In your profile you are going to want to include some information about you, including your name, email, and optionally, your phone number. Also, if you have a skype idea or AIM username, consider adding those. There should also be a space for your homepage. Use that space to put your affiliate link in. The way that you advertise in forums is, if you don’t already know, by putting your affiliate/referral link in your signature or ‘resource box.’

Before you do that though, consider making 10-30 quality posts in the forum. This will help you build up your reputation, instead of just a guy coming in to promote his affiliate link. Remember, the friendlier you are in a forum, the more people will respect you, and the more sales you will get.

Now I am going to talk about some posting tips.
To start it off, I'd say three things:

1. Don't advertise your signature with wasteful posts.
-The longer the person stays on your post, the more chance he has of looking at the bottom. So, make quality, long posts, and the person will probably click on your link.

2. Don't Put a 6-line banner.
-At my favorite forum, dream team money, the maximum signature allowed is 6 lines... don't waste it all by one big banner. When I see one like that, I never click it. I don't know why, I just don't. 3. Advertise with curiosity...
-Make people click on your link by curiosity... for example, I once had a post titled, "Part one in the five part series." That post got very few views. However, my post entitled, "BILL GATES IS ON DTM!!!" Got over 100 in a day... see? The people wanted to know if he really was on DTM (dream team money.)

Just remember to make friends on forums, be a nice person, and don’t spam. By following those three golden rules, you should succeed in forum marketing.

Did you ever create a blog or website you were really proud of but nobody came to visit it? Thats because it isn't just done with creating a great website and uploading. After the design process the real work begins.

Get your site Indexed by the major search engine, drive some traffic to it, build up a reputation. Thats hard work, and if you have the spare money you could outsource it. But why should you spend 100$ for something you could do on your own?

So to get started promoting your site, start with the simplest, yet most effective way. Build some Backlinks. If you dont know what backlinks are, thats simple... A site linking back to your site :)

Benefits are simple thene more pages you have that are linking to your page then more attractive is your site for search engines. Also do a lot of links to you site mean that chances are high that someone will click it :)

But please do me a favor after you are done with this tutorial dont run out and spam your link anywhere you can.

If you join a forum or post on a blog even if you just want a backlink, never ever make spam posts. Always keep in mind, you are doing this for SEO but other people really like the forum/blog and are interested in the topic. So please respect them and the owners.

Do not create posts ala "hi, please visit xxx.xxx thanks" if you do that you will just get banned and we got soon only pages with the evil "no follow" tag turned on by default !

Lets get to the setup
1. Start a new browser window
2. Start notepad to write down some stuff you else have to copy 100times... (start -> run -> type "notepad" with out the " " ->OK )
3. Put all your details you dont want to enter 5 times into your notepad file (url with http://www,, name for the link, keywords, short review, a link to your about page since some blogs/forums really hate marketers so display something else of your page) so you can quickly copy paste it...
4. Go to 10min mail and get a disposable mail adress or use your own. If you use 10min mail also copy that mail address to your notepad file

so we are ready to roll :)

How to live meaningfully

This is probably the hardest thing of all to learn, and the least taught.

Living meaningfully is actually a combination of several things. It is, in one sense, your dedication to some purpose or goal. But it is also your sense of appreciation and dedication to the here and now. And finally, it is the realization that your place in the world, your meaningfulness, is something you must create for yourself.

Too many people live for no reason at all. They seek to make more and more money, or they seek to make themselves famous, or to become powerful, and whether or not they attain these objectives, they find their lives empty and meaningless. This is because they have confused means and ends - money, fame and power are things people seek in order to do what is worth doing.

What is worth doing?

That is up to you to decide. I have chosen to dedicate my life to helping people obtain an education. Others seek to cure diseases, to explore space, to worship God, to raise a family, to design cars, or to attain enlightenment.

If you don't decide what is worth doing, someone will decide for you, and at some point in your life you will realize that you haven't done what is worth doing at all. So spend some time, today, thinking about what is worth doing. You can change your mind tomorrow. But begin, at least, to guide yourself somewhere.

The second thing is sometimes thought of as 'living in the moment'. It is essentially an understanding that you control your thoughts. Your thoughts have no power over you; the only thing that matters at all is this present moment. If you think about something - some hope, some failure, some fear - that thought cannot hurt you, and you choose how much or how little to trust that thought.

Another aspect of this is the following: what you are doing right now is the thing that you most want to do. Now you may be thinking, "No way! I'd rather be on Malibu Beach!" But if you really wanted to be on Malibu Beach, you'd be there. The reason you are not is because you have chosen other priorities in your life - to your family, to your job, to your country.

When you realize you have the power to choose what you are doing, you realize you have the power to choose the consequences. Which means that consequences - even bad consequences - are for the most part a matter of choice.

That said, this understanding is very liberating.

Think about it, as a reader - what it means is that what I most wanted to do with my time right now is to write this article so that you - yes, you - would read it. And even more amazingly, I know, as a writer, that the thing you most want to do right now, even more than you want to be in Malibu, is to read my words. It makes me want to write something meaningful - and it gives me a way to put meaning into my life.

WELCOME TO DTM!!

Today I'm going to take an hour or so out of my day to create this thread. Read it thoroughly please, I now wish I would had a thread like this when I was starting out. It would have saved me a lot of time and money.

Let's start off with a little history about myself in part one of this five part series.

PART ONE

My name is Edward Brown, and if you have been browsing this forum for as little as one day, you probably have heard of me.

I started out with the internet in 2003. Until 2005, I did not make any money. From there my career took off. I was a true internet marketer

But, as the economy failed in 2008, so did my profits. So I decided to take up article writing. I didn't make that much.

I thought the internet as I knew it was over for me until I found out about something called a 'hyip'. It stands for High Yield Investment Program.
It is just like my site, except usually the administrators do not pay you, and instead run away with your money. That is not who I am.

As a newbie, I invested $300 in one without even making a test spend. Guess what? It was a scam. I lost it all. (Which one was it? www.marketforexltd.com. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT INVESTING THERE. It's a scam now. I really am pissed.)

So,I took a break from the internet, feeling down and depressed. Until September 22, 2008, when I signed up for Dream Team Money. And, let me tell you, it was a GREAT decision that I made.

THIS IS THE BEST FORUM ON THE WEB. IT SURPASSES OTHERS BY A LANDSLIDE. IN DESIGN, QUALITY, POST COUNTS, MODERATORS, MEMBERS, AND MORE. GREAT PLACE TO BE.

If you love to write, consider becoming a freelancer and writing articles or ebooks for someone. It's a great, free way to make some seed money so you could later move on to bigger things. . I currently charge $10 per article that I write, but I've seen some people charge as high as $30, or as low as $1.

-I'm doing it right now, you post to forums, and advertise your signature. (The thing that's in the bottom of all your posts you make.) It's a very popular form of marketing, and it's free too!

3. Article Marketing
-Also known as the 'bum marketing method', this method involves you writing articles, and posting them to a site like ezinearticles.com. The site takes care of advertising the article, and your signature is at the bottom of each article you write

Like so many others I was an abused and unwanted child. Suicide, eating disorders, and other self-harm became my safety net. I carried these feelings of worthlessness and zero self-esteem into my adult life.

In 1883, a creative engineer named John Roebling was inspired
by an idea to build a spectacular bridge connecting New York with
the Long Island. However bridge building experts throughout the
world thought that this was an impossible feat and told Roebling
to forget the idea. It just could not be done. It was not practical.
It had never been done before.

Roebling could not ignore the vision he had in his mind of this bridge.
He thought about it all the time and he knew deep in his heart that it
could be done. He just had to share the dream with someone else.
After much discussion and persuasion he managed to convince his
son Washington, an up and coming engineer, that the bridge in fact
could be built.

Working together for the first time, the father and son developed
concepts of how it could be accomplished and how the obstacles
could be overcome. With great excitement and inspiration, and the
headiness of a wild challenge before them, they hired their crew
and began to build their dream bridge.

The project started well, but when it was only a few months underway
a tragic accident on the site took the life of John Roebling. Washington
was injured and left with a certain amount of brain damage,
which resulted in him not being able to walk or talk or even move.

Everyone had a negative comment to make and felt that the project
should be scrapped since the Roeblings were the only ones who knew
how the bridge could be built. In spite of his handicap Washington
was never discouraged and still had a burning desire to complete t
he bridge and his mind was still as sharp as ever.

He tried to inspire and pass on his enthusiasm to some of his friends,
but they were too daunted by the task. As he lay on his bed in his
hospital room, with the sunlight streaming through the windows,
a gentle breeze blew the flimsy white curtains apart and he was
able to see the sky and the tops of the trees outside for just a moment.

It seemed that there was a message for him not to give up. Suddenly
an idea hit him. All he could do was move one finger and he decided to
make the best use of it. By moving this, he slowly developed a code of
communication with his wife.

He touched his wife's arm with that finger, indicating to her that he wanted
her to call the engineers again. Then he used the same method of tapping
her arm to tell the engineers what to do. It seemed foolish but the project
was under way again.

For 13 years Washington tapped out his instructions with his finger on his
wife's arm, until the bridge was finally completed. Today the spectacular
Brooklyn Bridge stands in all its glory as a tribute to the triumph of one man's
indomitable spirit and his determination not to be defeated by circumstances.
It is also a tribute to the engineers and their team work, and to their faith in
a man who was considered mad by half the world. It stands too as a tangible
monument to the love and devotion of his wife who for 13 long years patiently
decoded the messages of her husband and told the engineers what to do.

Perhaps this is one of the best examples of a never-say-die attitude that
overcomes a terrible physical handicap and achieves an impossible goal.

Often when we face obstacles in our day-to-day life, our hurdles seem very
small in comparison to what many others have to face. The Brooklyn Bridge
shows us that dreams that seem impossible can be realised with determination
and persistence, no matter what the odds are.

As more people grow acquainted with the Law of Attraction and hope to use it effectively, many are discovering that manifesting their desires isn't as easy as some books and videos.

One of my hypnotherapy clients, Linda, told me how she had "every" book and audio on the Law of Attraction. In fact her knowledge of the important book, The Kyballion, let me know I was dealing with a woman (she is a licensed psychologist) who was serious about this. She told me her troubles concerned issues of getting rid of excess bodyweight which she couldn't "hope away."

"Don't get me wrong," she reminded me. "The Law of Attraction has helped me in so many other areas of my life. It inspired me to stay strong until I achieved my doctorate in psychology. It consoled me until I could find enduring romance again, because now I'm married to a fantastic man."

And so it was -- during one of those informal pre-hypnotherapy chats -- that she brainstormed about how she might improve her results by tapping into her subconscious mind and perhaps using auto-suggestion. This article is the result of that brainstorming session with her.

So... first let me ask you this: Do you feel frustrated by the Law of Attraction like she did? Have you been methodical about following it, only still getting weak results? Have you now become so discouraged you're now a "secret" skeptic?

I'll try to help in this article.

Maybe -- until now -- you haven't considered that when you test this cosmic rule you need to properly tap into your subconscious mind using the power of auto-suggestion. That way you'll begin to alter the resistant bad habit patterns.

Here are six possible stumbling blocks (and the ways you can solve each of them) so you can finally get more out of the Law of Attraction:

* 1. You secretly don't believe your desire can manifest. If you doubt that attaining your desires is possible or believe that they are out of reach, your subconscious will block their manifestation. Solution: Examine your desires and figure out if you really think they're realistic.

* 2. Your desire is not clearly defined. Vague hopes are often ignored by the subconscious altogether. Solution: Sit down and write out exactly what you wish to attract to your life right now. And be specific and detailed.

* 3. You secretly believe that your wish is immoral or unwise. A part of you may believe that attaining what you want might harm yourself or others. Solution: Do some soul searching. Consider the moral implications of your desire. Do some self-talk and inform your subconscious exactly why attaining your desire is healthy and good.

* 4. Your desire is too big. Sometimes, desires are simply too much to manifest all at once so the subconscious is overwhelmed. Solution: Break your goal into several smaller ones. For example, if you want to become a CEO of a Fortune 500 company but you're now jobless, the fulfillment of your desire may require many small smart steps.

* 5. You tell others about your desire. If you tell your friends, relatives and co-workers about your manifestation goals, you diffuse the concentration of your inner power -- and thus weaken the vibration. Solution: Don't tell anyone of your desire unless they have a direct role in manifesting it.

* 6. Karma. There may be some unbalanced past action that currently prevents you from attracting your wishes. Solution: Often karmic action and reaction are hard to trace. But consider your past and how it may be impacting your ability to manifest the desired changes. Then attempt to deal with your karma more positively.

Tapping into your subconscious with auto-suggestion can be valuable for you. But you need to remove those negative thoughts and attitudes in the six ways above so you can apply the Law of Attraction more wisely. Then even more success will manifest in your life.

When I was in third grade I told my mother that I wanted to go to the University of Notre Dame. I remember going to meetings at age 13 about what it took to get in - that's how bad I wanted it. I knew everything it took and used this knowledge to my advantage. Notre Dame will not accept someone merely because they get a good score on the SAT, it takes so much more.

I told everyone I talked to, new friends and old friends, that I would be attending the University of Notre Dame. The response was almost ALWAYS THE SAME: "Wow, isn't that school hard to get into? Don't you have to be really smart?" They would wish me good luck in a "you really need it" tone. I never let this sway me.

Did you know that if your life was not changing, you would not exist?

Our Universe and everything in it is continually changing, because our Universe is made of energy. Energy can only exist if it is in motion and changing. If energy stopped being in motion, our entire Universe and all Life would vanish. Our lives are also energy, and therefore they too must always be in motion and continue to change. You cannot stop the motion and change in your life, and nor would you want to. The changing nature of energy gives us Life. It causes Life to grow and causes us to grow.

And yet when there is a big change of energy which affects our lives, we often label it as bad, and cause ourselves sorrow, pain, and suffering by resisting the change. But you always have a choice. In the Universe there is never just one way. You are never trapped with no way out, no matter what has occurred. There are two paths available to you in every circumstance and moment in your life. The two paths are the positive and the negative, and YOU are the one who chooses which path you will take.

You have the power to transform negative change into positive, but you cannot do it by resisting the change. Resisting the change is focusing on the negative and it is choosing the negative path, which brings with it even more negativity, more pain, and misery.

To transform the negative into positive, you must choose the positive path and command that this changing energy transforms into millions of blessings that pour down on you and everyone involved. Command the changing energy to bring unlimited good and positivity. Know and believe in your heart that as you command it, it must be done.

And then the day will come in the not too distant future, when you will look back and see all the blessings that you brought into this world through you and change.

It is time to review the goals you set for last year and set new ones for the coming year.
Have you planned your goals for 2008?

What are goals?

Quite simply put goals are targets or objectives that we want to achieve. They are different in their intensity than wishes or wants and as such are more tangible, more actionable, more measurable and more achievable. Having clearly defined and written goals will help us all to be more successful.

Why have goals?

People with goals achieve more than those without goals. We can all think of examples of highly successful people such as a successful sports personality. Do you think that any of them have succeeded without a clear and specific goal of what they want to achieve?

People with goals are more likely to achieve their goals than those without clear goals. It seems obvious that if you know exactly what you want it is far easier to achieve it than if you are vague or ambiguous but the truth is even more pronounced than that. Think of all of the people that you know who would like to achieve something but their goals are not big or clear enough and thus they constantly end up failing?

If you have a clearly written and specific goal it is relatively easy to create a structured action plan to achieve it.

Story of the Year : The Edison Chen Sex Scandal Rages On With More Pictures Released By Mystery Man "Kira"

Shanghaiist is hyperventilating. Just when we thought the worst was over, a new set of pics have surfaced. After looking through the pictures, we had to take a while to recover from the massive nasal haemorrhage we suffered before we could calm down ourselves enough to put this story together (oh how very self-sacrificial!).

The surfacing of the new pictures are an embarrassment to the Hong Kong police, who with the eight arrests they have made over the last few days claimed that they have already come down to the source of the pictures. To prevent the pictures from spreading further, the police have also highlighted to the public that it is an offence to publish, post or pass on the pictures. In the meanwhile, though, the pictures have been brazenly published on online forums and websites on the mainland (don't ask us for links!).

In particular, a mystery man named "Kira" continues to lurk out there. He has leaked about 300 pictures and has promised 600 more as well as a video. This is in line with the planned and phased roll-out of the pictures we told you about earlier. (Note: "Kira" is a character in the Japanese manga series Death Note.) Unperturbed by the intimidation tactics of the police, "Kira" has basically issued a challenge to the police to "catch me if you can" and posted this note:

At the moment, the pictures are spreading like wildfire through the Chinese internet and blogosphere and there is no turning the tide. The most recent pictures released have implicated two other women, and people are speculating they are Yu Chiu (赵颂茹) and a Japanese porn star. Here are some of the latest pics released by "Kira":

According to the Wikipedia entry on the scandal, the police in Hong Kong have gone so far as to enlist the assistance of Interpol, but their actions have "raised concerns about violation of human rights and the relationship with powerful media tycoons". Also:

Commissioner of Police Tang King Shing has warned on radio that anyone with the pictures on their computer, even without any record of distributing them, are in breach of the law. The Commissioner's remarks, criticised as irresponsible, caused outrage among the Hong Kong public, who questioned the police's selectiveness and heavy-handedness in this case, as compared with previous cases of pornography distribution on the internet. Lawmaker "Long Hair" Leung Kwok Hung and about two dozen people protested outside police headquarters in Wan Chai, accusing the police of sowing confusion and creating an atmosphere of terror among netizens, and urged Commissioner Tang to clarify whether or not keeping the pictures violated the law.

Eventually, the police clarified that "people who had only transferred the obscene picture files to friends had not violated the law, but those who had posted them to internet web pages would be in breach of the law", causing law-fearing netizens to start sending the pictures to each other by email or MSN, or turn to mainland China sites.

In the fallout:

* Edison has been dumped from the upcoming movie Jump <跳出去>, a joint production between Columbia Pictures and Stephen Chow's (周星馳) company Star Overseas. All scenes involving Edison are said to have been cut from the film which also stars Kitty Zhang (張雨綺) and the launch of the movie has been postponed from May to October. Director Stephen Fung (馮德倫) has said that he now awaits the return of Stephen Chow and the arrival of a Columbia Pictures representative so they can begin recasting.
* Hong Kongers have set up various Facebook groups: 打死我都唔信D相係假 (Those pics are fake? Over my dead body!), 強烈要求鄧竟成去加拿大捉拿陳冠希 (Petition to police chief Tang King Shing to arrest Edison Chen from Canada), 你們的明星 , Star at Hong Kong and 我認!! 我有睇過果d床上照!! XD (I confess! I saw those pics!!)

What other stars have said:

* Jay Chou (周杰伦), who has had his face superimposed on a nude body once, joked, "Luckily he has a good figure". Jay is now in Singapore to promote his latest movie Kung Fu Dunk.
* Chinese megastar Gong Li (鞏俐) says, "Young people may be very impulsive but there is no point blaming them. If we can embrace them with wider arms, they will learn from their mistakes."
* Veteran Hong Kong actress Lisa Wang (汪明荃) says, "If you don't want others to see you naked, then don't take such pics!"
* Rumours have surfaced that Cecilia Cheung has sent Edison Chen a lawyer's letter seeking compension for his negligence in handling the pictures. The actress has vehemently denied the veracity of the rumours.

The scandal has been the source of countless jokes in Hong Kong:

Left: Edison Chen has been labelled a hypocrite and caricatured as the terrorist Osama Bin Laden by Hong Kong netizens.
Centre: Gillian Chung wants you to try Edison Chen sausages!
Right: Edison Chen endorses Gillian Chung abalone just in time for the Chinese New Year!

There are similarities between the girl in the latest set of released pictures and a Japanese porn star, although no name has yet surfaced:

The Ultimate PC & Mac store at 50 Stanley Street, Central, has scrambled to put up a sign dissociating itself from the scandal, and clarifying that it is another Mac store at the same address that is in the news. Someone had the good humour to scribble on the poster, "No, we only sell pirated software!"

Obama steams ahead in Democrat primaries

The US Presidential hopeful, Barack Obama, has pulled further ahead of his rival for the Democrat candidacy - winning all three of the latest primaries. His victorious streak is now eight consecutive states and he has increased his lead over Hillary Clinton in terms of pledged convention delegates - and THEY select the Democrat candidate.

He told supporters: "We won the state of Maryland, we won the commonwealth of Virginia, and though we won in Washington DC, this movement won't stop until there's change in Washington DC, and tonight we're on our way."

Hillary Clinton was concentrating on the Texas vote in March, having lost a dramatic share of her core support to Obama on Tuesday - who according to opinion polls stole female votes, Hispanic votes and lower-income votes in Virginia from the former first lady.

But the voting system means that Democrat candidates can still come away with a big share of delegates, even if they lose a state primary.

British singer and song-writer, Amy Winehouse, picked up five prizes including one for "record of the year" at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles. But the 24-year-old troubled artist, who has been surrounded by controversy over drugs and alcohol abuse, was unable to be at the award ceremony in person.

Instead she accepted her awards from a London venue on a live satellite link. Earlier, the US had refused Winehouse a visa, but eventually relented. However, the decision came too late for the singer to travel.

Winehouse is the first British singer to win the Grammy for best new artist since the singer Sade back in 1986.

Other winners in last night's event included The White Stripes, Justin Timberlake and Carrie Underwood.
